Terms of use

1. The Invited service

Invited, available at invited.host, provides tools for private dinner invitations, guest and contact management, RSVPs, dinner history, photos, and consent-based introductions. Individual series and events are managed by their hosts. An account or introduction does not guarantee an invitation, seat, response, or relationship.

2. Invitations and accounts

Access requires an invitation or authorized membership. Google sign-in and email links or codes verify your identity; neither creates a right to access a series without authorization. Use the email address you were invited with, provide accurate information, and keep your account and sign-in credentials private. Do not share personal invitation links or attempt to use someone else’s identity.

Your permissions depend on the series, table, and role assigned to you. A host may manage their own series; that role does not grant control over other series. Revoked, expired, suspended, or removed access may prevent further sign-in or use.

3. Responsible and respectful use

Use the service lawfully and respect other participants’ choices. Do not harass, impersonate, spam, scrape guest directories, bypass access controls, misuse invitations, upload malicious material, or share another person’s private details without appropriate permission. Follow the consent and meeting requirements attached to introductions. A preview, shared dinner, or suggested introduction does not authorize unrelated contact or redistribution of someone’s information.

4. Hosts, contact imports, and events

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their table information, invitations, guest management, and communications. Guests should confirm event arrangements and relevant needs directly with the host. The app records information and responses supplied by participants and hosts; those records are not a guarantee that an event or introduction will proceed.

When adding or importing contacts, you must have authority to use and share the selected details for the intended hosting purpose. Imported contacts are shared with the hosts of the selected series. Only select people you intend to save in that shared contact book. Importing does not send invitations; sending an invitation is a separate action for which the host is responsible.

Google integrations are optional and are also subject to Google’s applicable terms and consent controls. The contact connection is read-only. You can decline or revoke it without granting permission to modify your Google address book.

5. Content and privacy

You retain your rights in content you provide. You authorize Invited and its service providers to store, process, and display that content as needed to provide the features you choose, subject to the app’s access controls and sharing settings. Provide only content you are entitled to use, and respect other people’s privacy when uploading photos, captions, notes, or contact information.

Our Privacy policy explains what information is accessed, how Google data is handled, who can see saved contacts, and how to request access, correction, or deletion. Revoking a permission can stop future access, but cannot retract information another authorized person has already seen or retained independently.

6. Availability and access changes

Features may change, and availability can depend on third-party hosting, email, and identity services. We may restrict access to enforce invitations, protect participants, address misuse, or maintain the service. Contact us if you believe access has been restricted in error.

Removing access does not necessarily delete historical dinner records. Requests concerning retained records are handled under the Privacy policy and applicable law. These terms do not exclude rights or protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

7. Updates and contact
